There’s a lot you can get done in 45 minutes or more if you focus and think about it!!
So my easy honey mustard chicken is a great idea for the entire family! And the chicken does stay very moist!
I’m thinking of you, folks! (So is my Chef).
1 small to medium chicken
2 tablespoons of mustard
2 tablespoons of honey
salt and pepper for taste
1 clove of garlic (crushed)
Preheat your oven to 200°C/390°F.
Wash the chicken thoroughly. Dry with paper towels.
Then place it in a baking pan.
Stir honey and mustard together. (You may need a little more of each, depending on number and size of chicken wings.)
Brush the honey-mustard mixture over entire skin area. (You can also drizzle the mixture over with a spoon if you like, but I find it’s much better brushing it!)
Add a little bit of salt and pepper to taste.
Next sprinkle the chicken with the crushed garlic.
Finally, if you like, sprinkle once over very lightly with paprika.
Place in oven for 45-60 minutes (about 20 mins./lb).
When the chicken has a golden color, crispy crunchy skin, and is juicy, then you know it’s ready.
A simple lettuce salad with my Chef’s simple dressing completes this super easy to prepare dinner!
A bit of cooked rice and green veggies go great with this baked honey mustard chicken recipe. And the green veggies will add nice, vibrant colors to your dinner!
