Skewer Chicken and Yogurt Sauce

Summer is over but the back end will perhaps allow you to taste this delicious dish that I tested during the holidays with Frédérique in Brittany (north-west of France).

This is a recipe that combines sweet and sour chicken, nectarine, honey and ginger. Delicious with grilled vegetables, perfect for an original and tasty barbecue.

Cooking time: 10 mins


400g chicken breast
50g ghee
1 tablespoon of honey
2 tablespoons of sauce sauja
2 tablespoons of grated ginger
4 new onions
2 nectarines
8 snow peas
A stirred yogurt
2 tablespoons of Golden sesame seeds
sea ​​salt, freshly ground pepper


Cut the chicken into pieces. In a bowl, place chicken pieces, fresh ginger, honey, sauce sauja. Cover with film and let stand 1 hour in the fridge.

Meanwhile, prepare the yogurt sauce: mix the stirred yogurt with salt and pepper. Let stand to cool.

Peel, cut the stem of green onions and wash. Cut onions in half. Wash the nectarines and cut in large pieces. Wash, blanch 30 seconds and dry peas.

Thread chicken pieces on bamboo skewers, alternating nectarines, onions and snow peas. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Using a brush, brush the skewers with ghee and cook the barbecue from 5 to 10 minutes.

Add yogurt sauce judged by taste.
