It's easy to make!

Most important: It's tastes great!!

This is a perfect recipe to make for a lunches or when you're having small get togethers. And not only is it simple to make, it will take you less than half an hour! When you're done, you have a perfect and different meal for your guests.

This is also great for lunches at work. When I know I'm going to have a busy week at work, I'll make this recipe now, and store it as left overs in my fridge! Heat in a microwave when I'm ready and I have a hot and delicious lunch!

You can do this too! Trust me - you'll love it!!

Ingredients (Serves 4-6 steaks):

4-6 fresh chicken breasts
100 g of mushrooms
2 medium onions
2-3 tablespoons of oil
3 tablespoons of flour
4 tablespoons of grated cheese
Salt and pepper to taste


Pre-heat oven at 190°C/375°F.

Wash the chicken breasts well. Then dry with paper towels.

Wash and dry the mushrooms. Cut into slices.

Also wash and dry the onions. Chop them into small pieces.

In a large skillet, add the oil and heat over a medium temperature.

Cut chicken breast into fillets. Sprinkle the flour over chicken breasts. Then form them in the shape of a steak. Place into the skillet.

Next add the mushrooms and the onions. Saute lightly until everything becomes a golden brown color.

In a  baking dish, arrange the sauteed chicken breasts with mushrooms and onions. Add salt and pepper to taste.

On top, sprinkle of 4 tablespoons of grated cheese. Bake in oven for 15 minutes.

My Chef's Tips:

Of course, our chicken fried steak recipe wouldn't be complete without a side dish! (I hear you Chef)!!

So to keep things quick and easy (and tasty!), a nice serving of freshly sliced tomatoes, along with some potato salad will make this different meal simply perfect!
