This super tasty chicken fajita recipe is absolutely perfect!
If you're one of those very busy people who never have enough time in the day, this easy chicken recipe will be a great help for you.
And one of the ways it will bring benefits to you is with your diet:
Whether you're trying to lose weight - or simply maintain healthy eating habits while accomodating a busy, hectic schedule, you'll find these fajitas not only very tasty, but also a lot of fun!
So trust me! And smile :)
2 medium skinless, boneless chicken breasts
2-3 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons of honey
1 tablespoon of vinegar
1 garlic clove
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon of parsley
A few lettuce leaves
1 green onion
kitchen knife & chopping board
large bowl for mixing & marinating
saute pan (skillet) & cooking spoon
Crush the garlic.
Place the oil, honey, vinegar, and crushed garlic in a large bowl. Mix everything well. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Wash and dry chicken breasts. Trim any excess fat. Slice the breasts into small thick pieces.
Toss the chicken pieces into the bowl. Let everything marinade in a cool place while you set up a pan to heat in.
Ideally if you do have more time you could let it marinate for 2-3 hours.
Heat a pan over medium heat.
Now then, lay marinated chicken pieces in the pan and sautée evenly for 4-5 minutes.
Just be careful to keep the pieces from burning!
Lay out the tortillas on a plate.
Wash and dry the lettuce leaves and green onions.
Shred the lettuce and chop the onions.
And now add the lettuce, chicken, and parsley over the tortillas.
Then wrap and serve immediately......but wait!!!!

Some additional toppings you might like to add are sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, and grated cheese!
