This Barbecue Chicken Pizza Recipe is a recipe moms are going to love!
Because kids will go crazy for it!
(And I know my chef loves pizza too!...and bbq's)
1 teaspoon of butter or margarine
1 chopped onion
1 small can of tomato paste
2 tablespoons of ketchup
1 tablespoon of water
½ teaspoon of vinegar
60 ml of lemon juice
1 teaspoon mustard
1 teaspoon relish (optional)
1 teaspoon parsley
1 tablespoon grated celery
Salt, pepper, and paprika (to taste)
Chop onions finely. Then fry in butter or margarine with a pinch of salt for golden color.
Add the ketchup, water, vinegar, lemon juice, the finely chopped onions, mustard, (and some relish if you have it), parsley, and grated celery, with salt, pepper, and paprika to taste.
Mix together, boil and keep simmering for about 15 to 20 minutes. After that time stir really well in order to obtain a thick mass. Sauce should be quite thick!
100 ml of milk quite warm (room temperature - about 25°C)
1 teaspoon sugar
200 g flour
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon each of these spices:
Mix milk (temperature about 25°C/68°F) with sugar and yeast, leave for 10 minutes in the warm place. Sieve the flour and mix with the prepared milk. Then add salt and oil.
For flavour, I add spices. Knead the dough (You can add 1-3 tablespoons milk.)
Cover the dough with a cloth and leave about 30 minutes in a warm place to rise. Dough should double in volume.
When it grows, work it for another minute or two, and then form into a ball. Rolled dough until it gets flat and round (about 30cm), and a few millimetres thick.
Place this pizza dough on baking paper and leave in a warm place to rise for 20-30 minutes.

300 g bbq chicken
1 large red onion
2 tablespoons of oil (ie: olive)
250 g grated cheese
1 teaspoon rosemary
Cut the BBQ chicken into medium sized slices.
Peel onion, wash it, and cut into slices. Sauté in oil or margarine.
Pour some of the prepared sauce over the pizza dough.
Over this spread the bbq chicken and sautéed onions.
Sprinkle with cheese. Then sprinkle with chopped rosemary, and brush with the rest of the sauce.
Bake in oven preheated to 220°C/440°F for about 20-25 minutes. Check regularly, to keep from burning!!
